Sardine Pate

To serve up to 4 people.

INGREDIENTS

Shallot - 1 average Shallot

Sardines - 1 tin (120g)

Butter - 1 Tbsp

Cream - 2-3 Tbsp

Lemon - 1 Lemon

Parsley - small handful

Bread - 1 loaf

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start, by finely dicing the Shallot.

2. Add the tin of Sardines, along with the Oil, to a blender.

3. Add a Tbsp of the Shallot, season, add a Tbsp of Butter, and 2 Tbsp of Cream.

4. Blend for a few moments until smooth, then taste for seasoning, make any adjustments you want*

*the pate should be nice and thick

5. Add a squeeze of Lemon juice, and a small handful of Parsley leaves.

6. Blend for a few more moments, so you have Parsley running through the Pate for colour.

7. Spoon the Pate out into a bowl.

8. Toast off your Bread of choice, spread on the Pate, and serve.
