“Easy cheat” Naan Bread

To make around 4 Naan Breads.

INGREDIENTS

Plain white Flour - 250g

Baking Powder - 1 Tsp

Flour - 1-2 Tbsp

Natural Yogurt - 2-3 Tsp

Butter - 20-40g

Garlic - 2-3 cloves

Parsley - small handful

Coriander - small handful

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start, by taking a large mixing bowl and adding 250g of plain Flour.

2. To the Flour, add 1 heaped Tsp of baking powder.

3. Season the Flour with Salt.

4. Then, add 6 heaped Tbsp of natural Yogurt.

5. Mix the Yogurt into the Flour to create a dough, then knead for around 5 minutes.

6. Place a Tea towel over the bowl, and leave the dough for about an hour.

7. Flour a chopping board, and take a golf ball sized piece of the dough, and flatten it out as thick as a pizza dough (roughly)

8. Place your Naan Bread’s to one side.

9. Take a small bowl and add 30-40g of room temperature Butter.

10. Next, finely dice, or grate, 3 cloves of Garlic and add it to the Butter.

11. Take a small handful of Parsley and Coriander, finely dice them, and also add to the Butter.

12. Thoroughly mix the Garlic and Herbs into the Butter and place it into the fridge.

13. Take a dry non stick frying pan on a low to medium heat, and lay in the dough.

14. Gently fry the Naan for 3 minutes on each side.

15. Lay the Naan on a plate and brush over the Butter to finish, and serve.
